      Hi there,

      Could you help me, please?

I was trying to switch from metric to imperial, but for some reason, it doesn’t work.

How to do that in a right way?

      Hi Yegor,

      Thanks for your message.

To use imperial or metric within CostX, you must ensure you have the correct Unit of Measure selected in two places.

First, add a new building. When you go to add the new building, you will notice a field called ‘Base UOM’. In here, select the correct one that you’d like to use for your building- options include metres, millimetres, feet, inches and yards.

Then, when you add each drawing into this building, you also need to select the ‘Base UOM’ field- and you should ensure it is the same as what you selected for the building.

Once this is done, you should be able to take your measurements in imperial.

      Hope this helps!

      Thank you, that works.

Is there an option to change UOM after a building was added and some measurements were taken?

      Hi Yegor,

That is possible.  To change the UOM, click into “Show Properties” > “Show Building Properties”.

      Hope this helps!
