      Hi,

      I received my serial number for an educational license today after waiting for 5 business days.Costx installation was successful, however, when I entered my serial number I received an error message of:

      ‘Activation failed: License cannot be re-activated, please contact your distributor. Serial Number: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

      If there’s no solution other than re-applying for a serial number, can this process be expedited?

      Hi,

      Thanks for posting on the student forum.

      An educational serial can only ever be activated once, on one computer. Simply apply for a new serial at the following link – https://education.itwocostx.com/support/forum/educational-request/ then run CostX again with your new serial.

      Hi,

      The serial number was only tried on one computer, and it still doesn’t work. Why is this error occurring? Help me prevent it from happening again.
