BSc (Hons) in Surveying is offered by the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, and most of the graduates choosing the profession of Quantity Surveying.

Surveying Studio is a core course for the Year-3 Surveying students who practice BQ preparation by using BIM model and software under the course.

Implementing RIB CostX® into classes:

Under the Surveying Studio, the students are requested to build a BIM model, and then they abstract the quantities from their models by using RIB CostX®.

Outcomes:

The students can learn and practise BIM measurement through RIB CostX® that is a user-friendly and easy-to-learn software. The free educational license provides a convenient way for the students to do their assignment anywhere and anytime as they can install the software in their laptops.
